Gear S Weather Lag

One of the flaws I see with my Samsung Gear S is that it doesn't always update. I find myself having to hit the refresh button to keep it up to date. If I don't hit the refresh button for a while I've noticed it could be a couple of days past due.

Samsung Gear S Can Make Calls Too

Iwatch is cool but make sure you get the facts. The Iwatch isn't the only watch that you can make calls on. The Gear S can call people also, mine actually has its own cell number. If I leave my Note Edge at home and someone calls my cell phone it will forward it to my Gear S watch.

Reading Stories With Gear S

One of the best things about the Gear S is the ability to read stories directly on the watch face. If you want to see the story on a larger format there's a button that allows you to automatically review it on your phone.

Exercising With Gear S

It's starting to warm up and I need to get serious about getting my physical shape under control. Yesterday I got in some running on the track with my Gear S.

I learned that I can control my Note Edge by using the Gear S as a remote. It has the ability to change and pause songs on your phone by touching your watch.

The attached image shows the different exercise option the device can track. I'll be working out later tonight so hopefully I will have more to share.

My Gear S Verses my wife's apple watch

I've had my Gears S watch for about 6 months now. I love everything about it. It has the ability to forward calls from my cell phone to my watch if I leave my phone at home. My Gear S has its own phone number but I can't seem to call out from it without my phone though.

I've used the walking GPS to keep track of steps and it works perfectly. I haven't had a chance to use it with my bicycle but I'm looking forward to doing that this coming week.

My wife's I watch should arrive soon and I'll be able to share the feedback on it.
